Jesus had supernatural ability:
The first recorded miracle that Jesus did was at a wedding feast in Cana, where He changed water into wine. This is where He first “manifested His glory, and His disciples believed in Him” (John 2:11). Jesus gave the blind their sight (John 9:1-41; Matt. 9:27-31; Mark 8:22-26). He gave the deaf their hearing (Mark 7:31-37), the mute were able to speak (Mark 7:35). Jesus healed the crippled (Matt. 9:2), the epileptic (Matt. 17:14), and even a man’s withered hand (Matt. 12:9). He healed lepers (Matt. 8:2; Luke 17:11) those who had fevers (John 4:46) even a man with dropsy (Luke 14:1) Jesus healed a woman who had been hemorrhaging for twelve years (Matt. 9:20). Jesus proved He had power over the demons by constantly commanding them out of people (Matt. 8:28; 9:32; 12:22). Jesus raised people from the dead (Matt. 9:25). One young man was being carried to the tomb, dead as a doorknob, and Jesus brought him back from the dead (Luke 7:12-15). When Jesus raised His friend Lazarus from the dead, His enemies did not even deny it, but they tried to kill Him because of it, saying, “If we let him go on like this,” [performing miracles] they said, “everyone will believe in him” (John 11:48). Jesus had the power to heal the sick without even seeing them. There were cases where Jesus was in one city while the sick person was in an entirely different city and He would just speak the word and they would be healed (John 4:46-64; Matt. 8:5-13). Jesus also showed His power over nature itself by calming the winds and the seas. His followers cried out, “Who then is this, that He commands even the winds and the water, and they obey him?” (Luke 8:25). Jesus walked on water (Matt. 14:25) and even enabled His disciple to do the same (Matt. 14:29). Jesus fed a crowd of 5,000 with only 5 loaves of bread and 2 fish (Matt. 14:13-21), and another 4,000 people with only 7 loaves of bread and a few small fish (Mark 8:5-9).
